Honestly, I don't think we've even had an option to order 2015 1500s yet. I think we've ordered a '15 of everything except the Cruze, the Trax, and the 1500.

On a side note, the Cruze has $3,000 in rebates right now. And if you're a supplier or employee, you get another $500. This, on a car that could potentially go from 20,500 sticker to just over $16500. This is crazy!

Cruze and Trax make sense, but the 1500 is pretty weird that you can't order '15s yet.

Not a bad deal for a pretty decent car.

Yeah, I think they're just holding on to that right now bc the '15 2500 and 3500 just came out pretty recently (7-8 months ago). So they just got the bodystyle update then.

When I'm at the MN state fair again later this week I'll take a pic of it. They had one there in Victory Red with black stripes. They are similar stripes to what chevy has had since the muscle car days. Interestingly the center bars were a matte finish while the border stripes were gloss. They also had a Colorado. I should have taken pics but I will later. I was more interested in getting beer.

My dads 2011 Silverado is going to be the last GM product he ever buys. The electronics rival VW and the interior quality rival FIAT. He's bought GM products since he was a teenager and owned everything from 'Vettes to Caddies. I wouldn't pay more than $30k.

To be fair, the last generation of Silverado was just meh all around.

My auto tech teacher has an '09 1500 and an '11 2500 and both are like one more issue away from being covered under Lemon Law.

Not to mention the school was donated an '07 Silverado 2500 that was bought back by GM because it had a bunch of issues.

So yeah, they just weren't that great it seems.

$5,250?!? Thats borderline insane! If it still gives GM Profit (which I think it does) then anyone who paid retail price has been robbed!

The biggest discount ive seen is about $5,500 Dollars. They REALLY needed to sell Expeditions when the insecurity was sky high. No one wanted them, people who already had them got robbed by cartels, and everyone started buying compacts. Its starting to grow again the demand for them, as I have seen about 5 new Yukon Denalis in my city, which is 5 times more than I ever expected to (There is only 1 Fiesta ST, and 1 Abarth. 1!!!).
